Project Director and Project Manager

Peter is the proud owner and director of Aspect. He is a highly accomplished property executive with over 37 years of industry experience in project management, development and construction. Peter is particularly passionate about delivering state-of-the-art and functional developments for tomorrow’s senior citizens and brings decades of experience in residential design and construction projects to the aged care sector.

 

Prior to establishing Aspect and becoming an independent project manager and property strategic advice specialist, Peter held various executive and senior management positions with major aged care developers/providers and leading design and construction companies. With budgets ranging from $1M to $600M, Peter has successfully delivered a broad range of projects for the residential, aged care, retirement living, commercial, hospitality, retail and industrial sectors.

 

Peter specialises in:

  • Project managing all phases of new and existing projects, including development, design, construction, commissioning and handover.  

  • Site appraisals and acquisitions.

  • Value engineering project designs to fit within budgets.

  • Authority approvals and due diligence.

  • Design management of consultants.

  • Understanding construction superintendent roles.

  • Portfolio master planning and managing property portfolios.

  • Facilities management and building repairs and management.

  • Providing strategic advisory services.

Peter understands how to de-risk projects and can effectively manage consultant teams to achieve project designs that are cost effective, functional and innovative. Peter also knows the specific requirements for buildings to be designed and built to meet client-centered care models.

 

Peter holds QBCC accredited licenses in both project management and building construction and is a member of the Australian Institute of Building and a Chartered Building Professional. He is also an associate member of LASA and sits on the LASA Property and Development Group.

Tessa Hanlon

Marketing Manager and Administrative Assistant

A qualified communications professional with over a decade of experience within the industry, Tessa has held a range of in-house, agency and freelance communication and management roles. Tessa is passionate about writing and helping others to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally.
 

At Aspect, Tessa specialises in:

  • Marketing and communications.

  • Report compilation and editing.

  • Business development.

  • Conducting industry research, including aged care living trends locally (Australia) and globally (USA).

  • Administrative duties.

  • Contract and invoice administration.

Tessa has worked with a range of clients in Australia, South Africa and the United States across the small business (building and film industries), corporate, education, government and not-for-profit sectors. With an ability to translate technical information into plain English, Tessa is experienced in:  

  • Strategy development and implementation.

  • Developing and implementing public awareness campaigns.

  • Media relations.

  • Crisis management.

  • Corporate communications and marketing activities, including developing staff newsletters, customer magazines, advertisements (TV, print and radio), editorial, promotional material (e.g coffee table books, brochures), social media content, university program guides, board reports, Australian Government publications, reports and case studies, and technical and annual reports.

  • Website creation.

Tessa holds a Bachelor of Communications, Bachelor of Arts and Certificate in Digital Marketing Strategy.
